President (Founder)

Shere Myers

Originally from Walsh CO, Shere' moved to Wayne County in 2013. She enjoys homeschooling her 4 children (ages 14, 12, 9 and 5) as well as directing the Challenge A students at Classical Conversations of Goldsboro. After teaching Biology at Wayne Community College for 11 years, she recently resigned to focus her efforts on Solid Ground NC. She has been privileged to volunteer with the Goldsboro Ladies Hope Center House since 2022.

Christopher Myers 

Chris serves as a Vice-President for T. A. Loving Company, with 20 plus years of experience in the water and wastewater construction industry. 

He earned his MBA, with a Concentration in Project Management, from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.  In his spare time, he enjoys camping with the Boy Scouts and Family. He lives in Goldsboro with his wife Shere, and four children. He serves on his's churches safety team, building committee, and maintenance committee. He is passionate about the Solid Ground Mission and leads the construction committee.

Anderson Barnes

Anderson was born and raised in Pikeville, North Carolina. He was licensed to preach at the age of 18 in 2010 and was ordained in 2013. Anderson is married to Danielle, who teaches 2nd grade with Wayne County Public Schools. They have twin daughters, Emma Claire and Sophia Grace, who were born in April 2017. Pastor Anderson is passionate about reaching the students of Stoney Creek Church and the community.

Christina Bruggeman

Christina Bruggeman is an Air Force spouse and homeschool mom who has lived in the Goldsboro area since 2010. She has worked with Classical Conversations for 9 years and currently teaches high school seniors. She also supports families by making meals and providing needed childcare, and serves in the local community through her church.

Ted Cassity

Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, Ted attended Old Dominion University where he earned a Bachelor's in Business. He spent 20 years in Charleston, SC where he worked in construction management and estimating both commercial and residential construction. He has been a resident of Goldsboro since 2021 and is currently a preconstruction manager for TA Loving.

Scott Satterfield

Scott was born and raised in Erwin, NC, in Harnett County. He holds degrees in religion and history from the University of Mount Olive and East Carolina University. After 20 years in full-time church ministry, he began working as the Downtown Goldsboro Business and Property Development Specialist. After opening two different businesses (which continue today under new ownership), Scott became the President/CEO of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce in 2022. In his role at the Chamber, Scott works to engage, equip and elevate every business in Wayne County. Scott and his wife Kristen have children: Elijah, Finley and Magnolia.

Michael Woodard

Michael Woodard was born and raised in Goldsboro. He has been licensed to practice law since 2006. Michael is licensed in both North Carolina and Alabama. Additionally, he and his wife Mary own and operate Woodard Realty where they manage residential rental units.

Pam Adkins

Pam is currently completing her internship to earn her Master's Degree in clinical mental health from Liberty University. She has experience in a variety of service fields, including serving as Director for the Goldsboro Hope Center House for women, a year-long, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.

Dylan House

Dylan House is an NC General Contractor, small business owner, and an active church member. The father of five young ones, he loves big families, the outdoors, and homesteading.

Craig Foucht

Craig serves as the Director of Business and Project Management at the NC Global TransPark Economic Development Region. Craig has been a resident of Eastern North Carolina since his father received orders to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in 1984. He is an alumni of Wayne Community College and East Carolina University. Craig and his wife Nikki have three children, Michael, Margo, and Matthew who all attend Bethel Church in Goldsboro. Mr. Foucht also serves on several community boards including the Wayne County Planning Board, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, and as the elected Wayne County Board of Education member for District 5.
